Voting – Making Informed Choices

image description

As election seasons draw near, many political and communal organizations stress the importance of voting. The Jewish community is no different. These drives urge voters to go to the polls but don’t often offer wisdom or resources for making informed choices. In this lesson, students will investigate the possible effects of making informed and uninformed choices and engage with Jewish texts about acting with and without prior information.

This activity is best suited for 8th – 12th graders
