The Days of Creation Through a 21st Century Lens

image description

This set of eight interactive lessons gives students an opportunity to explore the creation narrative through a 21st century lens. Each lesson includes an exploration of one aspect of the text and a related STEM project or experiment. (We know that the up-to-date terminology is STEAM, but we also know that art is usually represented well in the supplemental school classroom.) Students will have the opportunity to test Newton’s first law of motion as part of a lesson on the seventh day of creation, for example, or build a density tower as a means of understanding separation.
This activity is best suited for 2nd-8th grades
