This activity introduces the concept of proverbs as an expression of a particular culture. The Judeo-Spanish proverbs in particular traveled through time and space with Sephardic Jews after their expulsion from Spain, and became a distinctive feature of Sephardic life.
This activity is best suited for 6th – 12th grades.
