Freedom Prayers and Modern Day Slavery

image description

This multi-faceted lesson explores the Jewish concept of freedom and how it differs from popular culture, as well as offers opportunities for students to investigate the many forms of slavery that exist today. Students are also encouraged to write a Passover freedom prayer to share at their family Seders.

This activity is best suited for 7th – 12th graders.
