Beyond Classroom Helpers: Building Connected Communities

Madrichim programs serve as key components of many synagogues’ teen engagement programs. High school students, and sometimes post-B’nai Mitzvah middle schoolers, assist in a wide variety tasks and responsibilities.

By elevating the training and responsibilities of madrichim, we, as educators, can provide them with tools and experiences to build relationships with students, teachers and peers. This can make a fundamental difference in the Jewish communal experience for young students, teens, and your community at large.
