  • How do I download a lesson plan or activity?
    1. Click on the lesson plan/activity you are interested in.
    2. Click the red “Download” button.
    3. See Where can I find my downloaded lesson plan/activity after I click “Download” for next steps.
  • Where can I find my downloaded lesson plan or activity after I click “Download?”

    Safari Web Browser:Your project will download into the “Downloads” folder.

    Internet Explorer:After you click the “Download” button, a menu will pop-up asking whether you would like to “Open” or “Save” your project. Click “Save.” Your project will save in the “Downloads” folder on your computer.

    Chrome:Your project will download to your computer and appear in a menu bar at the bottom of the browser window. The project will be saved in the “Downloads” folder on your computer.

    Firefox:After you click the “Download” button, a menu will pop-up asking whether you would like to “Open” or “Save” your project. Click “Save.” A window will pop-up in the upper right corner of your browser window. Click on the file name to view the downloaded project. Your project is saved in the “Downloads” folder on your computer.

    IPhone and IPad:After you click the Download button the project will open right onto your screen.

    Android:After you click the Download button the project will open right onto your screen.

  • How many times can I download a project?

    You may download a project as many times as you would like. Each time you click “Download,” the project will again save to your computer.

    What format are downloaded lesson plans and projects?

    All downloaded projects are in PDF file format.

  • What is the Kehillah (Community)?

    The Kehillah is a tiered subscription program that provides access to the lessons and activities. Being a part of the Kehillah provides benefits that include curriculum consultations, teacher certification, webinars and community programs. 

  • How do I know which are available only to Kehillah subscribers?

     The material available to Kehillah members will automatically be available for your use.

  • How will my information be used?

    Your information will never be shared with a third party. You may be contacted via email or text regarding new materials posted to the JTeach.org website. If you wish to stop receiving emails from us, simply use the unsubscribe feature at the bottom of one of our emails.

  • How can I search for lessons/activities?

    Type keywords into the search bar in the upper right hand corner of the page to search for lessons/activity. Keywords might include topics, content areas, art materials, Jewish symbols, or ritual items.

  • Can I search by grade level?

    Lessons are available by category or in the section for specific grade levels. We are in the process of categorizing each lesson and activity by grade. Many of our lessons and projects are easily adaptable for a wide range of ages, and differential to learning abilities.
