No matter your political leanings, if you’ve watched the news, opened a newspaper, or used social media over the past few years, you have likely noticed a sharp decline in civil discourse, especially in the political arena.

This lesson provides Jewish values with which to frame conversations in the run up to the 2018 mid-term elections as well as the impetus and the language to promote civil discourse when speaking about government and politics.
