Bentching Gomel is the reciting of the gomel prayer after surviving a life-threatening or dangerous situation. Help students express and discuss their feelings regarding having survived a dangerous situation, or knowing someone (a classmate, parent, relative, or community member) who has survived a dangerous situation with our comprehensive guide to bentching gomel, including a lesson plan, blessing sheets, text study on the background of the prayer, a conversation guide, and multimedia activities incorporating the prayer.
